The Vacuum Cleaner
Dad is vacuuming the living room, and his daughter walks by.
“Why is the vacuum so loud, Dad?” she asks.
He replies, “Because it’s working hard to suck up all the dirt in this house!”
She laughs, “But why does it always smell bad?”
Dad grins, “Because it’s been sucking up your room, and let me tell you, the vacuum’s seen some things.”
One evening, Dad is cleaning the kitchen when his daughter walks in.
“Why is there soap suds everywhere?” she asks.
Dad looks around proudly, “Well, I decided to tackle the dirtiest parts of this house—starting with the dishes and ending with my cooking reputation!”
