The Best Date Ever
A man and woman go on their first date, and they decide to have dinner at a fancy restaurant. After they order, the man looks at his date and says, “I have to tell you something… I’m a huge fan of making lists. For everything.”
She laughs and says, “Really? Like what kinds of lists?”
“Well, for example, I have a list of the best ways to eat pizza,” he says, pulling out his phone. “And I have a ranking system! Thin crust, deep dish, stuffed crust… they all get a score based on cheese ratio and crust crispiness.”
The woman is amused but intrigued. “What’s your best date idea then?”
He grins, “I’ve got a list for that too! The best date idea is one that includes dinner, a good conversation, and the opportunity to rank everything afterward. Preferably with dessert and a cup of coffee at the end to discuss how we can improve the date next time.”
She laughs and says, “So, if this date were to be ranked, what score would you give it?”
He looks at her seriously and says, “Well, this date gets a solid 9.5 out of 10 for ambiance, but I think we need to step up the dessert game for a perfect 10.”
She grins, “How about I take you to the best ice cream shop for dessert, and you can work on that perfect score?”
