The Cat and the Robot
A cat named Felix was walking down the street when he saw a shiny new robot standing in front of a store. The robot was advertising its services as a “personal assistant” for humans. Felix, being quite the curious cat, decided to check it out.
He approached the robot and asked, “What can you do, exactly?”
The robot responded in a mechanical voice, “I can organize your schedule, make coffee, and even walk your dog.”
Felix raised an eyebrow. “Walk dogs? What about cats?”
The robot blinked and said, “I’m sorry, cats are beyond my programming. I’m better suited for dogs.”
Felix thought for a moment and said, “I think you’re missing something here. You need to update your system to cater to felines. We need someone to open the window when we want fresh air, keep our water bowl full, and—most importantly—always provide the perfect lap for napping.”
The robot paused, processing the information. “I see. Perhaps I should add ‘cat nap management’ to my list of skills.”
Felix smiled, “Exactly. And once you’ve mastered that, we’ll talk about sharing your coffee.”
And so, Felix became the robot’s first feline consultant, teaching it the fine art of catering to cats.
