The Pirate’s GPS Problem
Captain Blackbeard decided to upgrade his old treasure-hunting ways and bought a high-tech GPS. Excited, he plugged it in and typed, X marks the spot.
The GPS immediately said, “Recalculating route to Treasure Island. Arrr, turn starboard at the next reef.”
Blackbeard was thrilled. “Finally, no more guessin’ with these cursed maps!”
But halfway through the journey, the GPS blurted out, “Warning: Kraken detected ahead.”
Blackbeard laughed. “Ha! No sea beast will stop me!” He ignored the warning and sailed on. But sure enough, a Kraken appeared, nearly capsizing his ship.
Once the crew defeated the beast, the GPS chimed, “I told ye so. Now recalculating route.”
Frustrated, Blackbeard yelled, “Why didn’t ye just lead us ’round it?”
The GPS replied, “Pirates love danger. I thought you’d enjoy the thrill!”
Muttering under his breath, Blackbeard followed the GPS until it said, “Destination ahead: X marks the spot. Anchors aweigh!”
They dug for hours but found only a chest filled with coconuts. Blackbeard glared at the GPS, which calmly said, “Sometimes, the real treasure is the journey, matey.”
Blackbeard threw it overboard and went back to his trusty old map.
