The Cow Who Joined a Band
Gertie the cow was a fan of all kinds of music, but what she loved most was playing the drums. One day, while wandering the farm, she heard a group of farm animals playing music in the barn. The chicken was singing, the pig was playing guitar, and the horse was strumming a banjo.
Gertie walked in and asked, “Hey, do you need a drummer?”
The chicken looked at her, cocked its head, and said, “You want to join us? You think you can keep a beat?”
Gertie grinned. “I’ve got rhythm in my hooves! Watch me!”
She started tapping her hooves, and to everyone’s surprise, she was amazing. “Looks like we’ve found our drummer!” the pig said, impressed.
The band, now complete with Gertie’s drumming skills, named themselves The Moo-sicians. They played at every barn party, and Gertie became a local legend, the cow who rocked the farm!
