The Penguin and the Polar Bear
A penguin and a polar bear are stranded on a small iceberg in the middle of the ocean. The penguin looks at the polar bear and says, “This is all your fault. You had to take that last fish and now we’re stuck here with nothing to eat!”
The polar bear, looking a bit guilty, says, “I didn’t mean for us to get stuck out here. But I’m sorry, okay? What do you want me to do now?”
The penguin paces back and forth. “You should have thought about that before you ate all the fish! Now, what are we going to do?”
The polar bear, trying to stay calm, suggests, “Why don’t we work together and figure something out? We’re both survivors. Let’s see if we can find a way back to land.”
The penguin stops pacing and looks at the polar bear. “You know, that’s not a bad idea. Maybe we can turn this around after all. After all, I’ve heard you’re great at finding solutions.”
The polar bear grins and says, “I may not be able to find fish in the ocean, but I’m great at finding a way out of any situation.”
The penguin nods. “Alright, let’s make a plan. Who knows, maybe we’ll find a new home and new fish to share.”
