Father Nelson’s Donation Box
The church was struggling with funds, so Father Nelson made a heartfelt plea for donations. He said, “Remember, God loves a cheerful giver!”
After the service, little Timmy dropped in a single coin. Father Nelson asked, “Timmy, why so little?”
Timmy replied, “Father, I wanted to give more, but Mom said you’d appreciate a cheerful giver, and I’m only cheerful when I have candy money left.”
Father Nelson laughed, “Timmy, you’ve taught me the value of honesty… and candy.”
