Father Nelson and the Weather
It rained heavily for days, and the church started flooding. The parishioners urged Father Nelson to evacuate, but he said, “God will save me.”
As the water rose, rescuers came by boat, but Father Nelson refused. “God will save me,” he said again.
Eventually, the water consumed the church, and Father Nelson drowned.
In heaven, he asked God, “Why didn’t You save me?”
God replied, “I sent a weather forecast, a boat, and a rescue team! What more did you need?”
