The Owl and the Crow
A wise old owl and a mischievous crow are perched on a tree branch, having a conversation. The crow asks, “What’s the secret to living a long life, wise owl?”
The owl replies, “It’s all about moderation—eat well, sleep enough, and keep learning.”
The crow, however, is unimpressed and says, “I don’t need to listen to that boring advice. I’ve figured out the secret to a long life: be mysterious and unpredictable. Everyone’s attention will be on you, and no one will ever know what you’re up to!”
The owl laughs. “That might work for a while, but eventually, people will get tired of the mystery. Being predictable isn’t so bad, you know. It’s about consistency.”
The crow, feeling clever, flaps his wings and says, “Maybe, but it’s a lot more fun to keep people guessing!”
The owl just shakes his head, “You’ll learn in time, my friend. But hey, keep being mysterious—someone has to make the rest of us look wise.”
