The Chicken and the Road
Why did the chicken cross the road?
To get to the other side. But upon reaching, it realized the crossing was symbolic—a metaphor for life’s challenges. It contemplated the nature of roads and its own existence for hours, eventually deciding it might just be a chicken who crossed a road.
A farmer loses his tractor. He searches the barn, the fields, and even the nearby town but can’t find it. Weeks later, he’s at a hardware store, and a neighbor says, “Hey, I saw your tractor in your shed.”
The farmer replies, “Oh, thanks for letting me know.” Then he goes home and continues farming.
