The Bee’s Plan for Retirement
A hardworking bee was nearing retirement and wanted to start planning for a more relaxed life. The young bee asked, “What’s your retirement plan, Grandpa Bee?” The older bee replied, “Well, I’m thinking of spending my days just buzzing around without any responsibilities—no more nectar collecting, no more hive duties. Just peaceful days flying in the sun and taking naps in the flowers.” The young bee asked, “But what about your family? The hive?” The old bee chuckled, “Oh, they’ll be fine. I’ve worked hard my whole life to ensure the hive is stable. My plan is simple: enjoy my golden years and maybe start a new hobby—like bee yoga or pollen painting.” The young bee laughed, “Grandpa, you’re a true inspiration. I’ll work hard to make my retirement just as sweet!”
