Biden and the Magic Trick
At a press conference, Joe Biden decides to show off his “magic trick” for the reporters. He takes a small coin from his pocket and says, “Watch this, folks. I’m going to make this coin disappear.” He holds it up and quickly drops it into his other hand. He then raises both hands and says, “Now, watch closely as I make this coin reappear!” He opens his hand… and there’s nothing inside. The reporters look at each other, confused. Biden smiles, “Oh, wait, that’s right, the coin’s just like the economy—vanishing when I need it most!” The room bursts into laughter, and one reporter jokingly asks, “Mr. President, are you sure the coin didn’t just go to the offshore account?”
