The Awkward Date
A guy walks into a restaurant for a date. As he waits, he nervously checks his watch every five seconds. His date arrives, and they sit down. He starts with the classic, “So, what do you like to do for fun?” She smiles and says, “Oh, I love hiking, painting, and spending time with my friends.” He pauses for a moment, then says, “Cool, cool. I like to watch Netflix… with snacks.” She gives a small laugh, but the silence is deafening. Trying to break the ice, he says, “Have you ever tried watching Netflix… while eating snacks?” She blinks and replies, “Uh… yeah. That’s kind of what Netflix is for.” The awkward silence returns. They both look around, waiting for the waiter to come back with the breadsticks, which of course, never arrive.
