The Unfortunate Self-Introduction
A guy walks into a group of people at a gathering and decides to introduce himself in an unusual way. He says, “Hi, I’m Jim, and I’m here to make your day better!” Everyone looks at him, unsure of how to respond. He continues, “I mean, not in a weird way. Just like… with my energy, you know? I have a lot of it. Like, I’m the kind of guy who brings good vibes.” He tries to show off his positive energy by doing a little dance move, but it only adds to the awkwardness. One person nervously chuckles, while another says, “Okay… well, nice to meet you.” Jim, feeling like the vibe didn’t go as planned, takes a step back and asks, “So… you guys into… energy?” The group nervously nods, then slowly drifts away, leaving Jim to stand alone with his “positive energy.”
