Money and Inheritance
“An elderly man is on his deathbed, surrounded by his children.”
He says weakly, “Kids, I have some good news. I’ve left something very valuable for each of you in the will.”
His oldest son asks, “Is it the house?”
The man shakes his head, “No, no. Much more valuable than that.”
His daughter asks, “Is it your savings account?”
He laughs softly, “Not quite.”
Finally, his youngest son asks, “What is it, Dad?”
With his final breath, the man says, “It’s wisdom. I’m leaving you with a lifetime of wisdom.”
They open the will the next day. It reads, “Work hard, save your money, and don’t trust anyone. Good luck!”
