The Battle of the Remote
It was family movie night, and Dad was in charge of picking the movie.
“Let’s watch something classic,” he said. “How about a documentary on the history of thermostats?”
The kids groaned. “No way, Dad! We want action!”
Dad grinned. “Fine, how about Fast and the Thermostat: Dad Drift?”
The family stared blankly.
Mom chimed in, “Let’s just watch something everyone likes.”
Dad held up the remote, pretending it was a sword. “You’ll have to take this from my cold, dad-joke-telling hands!”
The kids finally won, but not before Dad sneaked in a 15-minute tutorial on how to program the remote.
