The Competitive Friends and the Eating Contest
Mike and Greg are best friends, and they’re always competing. One day, they hear about a local eating contest where the prize is a free year of pizza. Naturally, both friends sign up.
The contest begins, and Mike and Greg are neck and neck. They’re shoveling pizza into their mouths at lightning speed, determined to win.
But about halfway through, Mike starts to slow down. His stomach is starting to feel full, and he’s regretting his decision. Greg, on the other hand, looks like he’s in a trance, completely focused on the pizza.
Finally, after what feels like forever, Greg finishes the entire pizza first, winning the contest. Mike is still struggling with his last few slices.
As Greg celebrates, Mike slumps in his chair and says, “Well, at least I tried. But I’ll never compete with a pizza maniac like you.”
Greg laughs, pats him on the back, and says, “Don’t worry, Mike. You were great. Now, let’s go get some dessert.”
