The DIY Disaster
Tommy had always been the handyman of the family, and one day he said to his younger brother, Nick, “I’m going to fix the sink in the bathroom. You want to help?”
Nick, who was always up for an adventure, eagerly agreed. The two of them got to work, with Tommy taking the lead.
After a while, Tommy said, “Alright, it’s done. Test it out!”
Nick turned on the faucet, and immediately, water gushed out from the pipes, flooding the entire bathroom.
Tommy’s eyes widened. “Uh, maybe I should have turned the water off first…”
Nick, drenched from head to toe, looked at Tommy and said, “Well, I guess this is your way of ‘fixing’ the sink—turning it into a water park!”
Tommy sighed. “I didn’t think that through. Can we just call Dad and pretend we fixed it?”
Nick grinned, “Sure, let’s do that. I’ll go grab the towels.”
