The Friend Who Tries to Be Cool
Tom and Jerry are close friends, but Tom is always trying to be “cool” in front of their group. One day, Tom says, “Hey, I’m going to get a motorcycle. It’s going to make me the coolest guy in the group.”
Jerry, a little skeptical, asks, “Are you sure? You’ve never ridden one before.”
Tom, not missing a beat, replies, “I’ll be fine! I’ve watched tons of YouTube videos. I’ve got this!”
The next day, Tom shows up with a shiny new motorcycle. He confidently gets on and revs the engine, but within seconds, he’s wobbling and nearly falls over. Jerry watches in disbelief as Tom struggles to keep balance.
Tom, embarrassed, says, “I may have underestimated this whole motorcycle thing.”
Jerry shrugs. “Told you, it’s not all about the cool factor. Maybe try a bicycle first next time.”
