The Mystery of the Missing Cake
A family accuses their dog of eating a cake left on the counter. The dog denies it with puppy eyes. Suspicious, they check the cameras, only to find their parrot squawking, “Who wants dessert?” before flipping the cake onto the floor.
The dog looks smug as the parrot says, “I plead the fifth!”
The dog replies, “Yep, I can talk. I’ve lived a long life, traveling with my owner across the country, solving mysteries, and even getting a job in a detective agency.”
The man is stunned and says, “That’s amazing! Why would you sell him?”
The owner shrugs and says, “He just sits around all day, watching Netflix and never doing any work anymore!”
