The Witch’s Spell Gone Wrong
A young witch named Amelia had just completed her first year at witchcraft school. She was eager to prove her magical abilities at the school’s annual Halloween talent show. She practiced her potion-making skills, her flying broom techniques, and even her voice for her spell-casting.
When her turn came, Amelia stood on stage with a confident smile and announced, “I’m going to cast the spell to summon the most terrifying creature to ever walk the earth!”
The audience watched in anticipation as she raised her wand, said the incantation, and flicked it dramatically. But when the smoke cleared, a tiny, fluffy kitten appeared on the stage.
Amelia blinked. “Uh… what just happened?”
The audience stared at the kitten, confused. “Is this… supposed to be terrifying?” someone called out from the back.
Amelia quickly tried to fix it, muttering another spell, but instead of summoning anything, she accidentally summoned a giant pumpkin that rolled across the stage and knocked over the microphone stand.
The audience burst into laughter. Amelia’s face turned red, but she didn’t give up. She said, “Alright, alright! One more try. This time, I’ll summon something truly terrifying!”
She closed her eyes, raised her wand, and with a mighty flick, a full-on ghost appeared… but it was wearing a tutu and ballet shoes.
Amelia groaned and the audience roared with laughter. “I guess the only thing I’ve summoned is the most adorable Halloween nightmare ever!”
And so, Amelia became known as the witch who could summon the cutest, most harmless creatures. But from that day on, she was always the star of the Halloween talent show.
