The Zombie at the Party
A zombie named Zack was invited to a Halloween party, and he was very excited. He had been feeling a little out of place at the local zombie gatherings lately—too many brains, not enough fun.
As Zack entered the party, he noticed a large group of humans mingling around a punch bowl, dressed in costumes. He approached the snack table but was immediately met by a human in a superhero costume.
“Whoa, who invited the zombie?” the human asked with a slight chuckle.
Zack, not offended, shrugged and said, “Hey, it’s Halloween. You know how it is… everybody’s gotta dress up, right?”
The human laughed nervously and said, “So, uh, what’s your costume supposed to be? A professional zombie?”
Zack grinned, showing off his missing teeth. “No, I’m just here for the snacks. But I’m definitely dressing up as myself this year. No need to pretend I’m something I’m not.”
The human stared at him and said, “Well, you do fit the theme of the party!”
Zack raised his hands and said, “I do have a unique skill set. Not to brag, but I’m really good at dancing… if you consider the ‘Zombie Shuffle’ a dance move.”
With that, Zack hit the dance floor, and soon enough, everyone was joining in, doing the Zombie Shuffle and having a blast. The humans learned that zombies could be fun after all!
