The Guitar and the Orchestra
A guitarist wanted to join an orchestra but was unsure about how to fit in with all the classical instruments. He approached the conductor and said, “I play guitar, but I’m worried it won’t mesh well with the rest of the orchestra.”
The conductor smiled and said, “Don’t worry, we can work with it. You’ll just need to be strategic about your solos.”
The guitarist, feeling relieved, asked, “So, when should I play?”
The conductor thought for a moment and said, “When the strings are too busy, and the brass is too loud, you’ll be the ‘guitar’-ph of the orchestra!”
